Secondary research is research that has been done by someone else by Internet or in books or in encyclopedia also magazines.

Advantages of secondary research

  •  Easy to access

  • Books can be used to find out stuff that people have said

  • Online access to the Internet

  • Less expensive 

  • It is also free

  • Industry magazines

 

Disadvantages of secondary research

  • The information may not be correct

  • Secondary research can be vague and may not really help companies.

  • The data may be old or also out of date.

  • The company that is publishing the data may not be replete. 

 

 

This is an example of TV magazines this is good because it shows how many magazines have been sold but the bad thing about it is that it doesn't tell us why people bought the magazines.
